Snacks :P

Kettle Corn recipe :)

prep time: 2mins        Cooking time: 5mins

1/4 cup oil (vegetable is what i use)
1/3 cup sugar (i find white sugar works a bit better than raw)
1/2 cup corn Kernels
salt to taste

Method:

measure out all the ingredients first and have them ready to use. in a large non stick pot with a clear lid if possible, add the oil.

Let the oil heat on a medium to high flame for a while till you can faintly see steam (if using raw sugar heat for slightly longer). Next add the sugar and IMMEDIATELY start stirring with a non melting plastic spoon.

Stir the sugar until melted and then strait away add the corn kernles and pop the lid on. shake the pot side to side so that the sugar doesn't burn, the kernels should start popping either strait away or after about 30 seconds, continue shaking the pot till the popping has slowed down then turn the heat off and let it sit till popping has stopped completely.

Empty into a large bowle and salt to taste.

And thats it! enjoy.

Tip: white sugar works better you will get fewer un-popped kernels.
